Bluetooth & Intercom
The Sena 50R uses Bluetooth 5.0 and supports Bluetooth Intercom, Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom, and Group Mesh Intercom modes. In open terrain, the working distance is up to 2 km (1.2 miles), which can extend up to 8 km (5 miles) with a minimum of 6 riders using Mesh. It supports up to 4 riders on Bluetooth Intercom, 24 riders on Group Mesh Intercom, and virtually limitless riders on Open Mesh Intercom with 9 available channels.
Audio & FM Radio
The device features Premium Speakers & Microphone with SOUND BY Harman Kardon and Advanced Noise Control™ with a built-in SBC Codec. It also has a built-in FM radio with RDS AF, supporting frequencies from 76 to 108 MHz and allowing for 10 preset stations.
Battery
Equipped with a Lithium Polymer Battery, the 50R offers talk time of up to 13 hours on Bluetooth Intercom and up to 8 to 11 hours on Mesh Intercom. A full charge takes 1 hour. Quick charging provides 6 hours of Bluetooth intercom or 3.5 hours of Mesh Intercom operation with just 20 minutes of charging.
